Saint Denis

First I transferred my drawing onto a piece of matboard. Then I dumped gouache and watercolor all over it.

I added a layer of white gouache to the background (the paint was cheap which is why it wasn't very opaque).

Added blood with watercolor and shading with pastel and colored pencil.

Gold leafing! D: I tried not to make a mess. I failed. You cannot even give the tiniest sigh of frustration in the presence of this stuff.

All done :D
